Serving is a powerful way of connecting with God and others, and sharing your unique gifts with the community! We believe in gift-oriented ministry, which means we thrive when we get to serve in the areas of church and community where we are called and gifted! We would love to hear what you are interested in, curious about,

or where the Lord is inviting you to consider something new!

it is to express interest and start a conversation with our team!

At Evergreen, we are dedicated to making a difference right here in our own church community. Our commitment is shown through:

 

  • Supporting congregation members in times of need

  • Hosting events like prayer nights and community meals

  • Offering small groups and Bible studies

  • Providing counseling and pastoral care

  • Engaging members in service opportunities within the church

Downtown Hillsboro

As a community we are committed to the city we live in. This commitment is evidenced by:

 

  • Supporting Hillsboro School District's precariously housed students and grads

  • Assisting with school district requests and events, like Welcome Back to School

  • Hosting kids' events during Hillsboro Holly Days

  • Organizing eKids camps

FAR

With passion, we advance God's Kingdom worldwide!

 

Evergreen supports global ministries and missionaries in Austria and Uganda, sending teams to Uganda when possible.

 

We sponsor kids and aid community projects in Chacalte, Guatemala, with Food for the Hungry.

 

We partner with Homes of Hope to build homes in Mexico.

 

We send church planters locally and globally, including leading work in Uganda.

Go Teams

Guatemala

In the Ixil village of Chacalte, we continue our community development partnership with Food For The Hungry. We assist with children's ministry programs and child sponsorship home visits. We work along side local villagers with construction needs such as children's classrooms and more.

Mexico

This team partners with Youth With a Mission - Homes of Hope for a home building project in Ensenda, Mexico. Our purpose is to provide practical help and encouragement as we work alongside the family in need to help them build their home. The structure is 16’x20’ and is able to be constructed from the ground up in about 2-3 days.
